Misplaced Passion

Passion is the intangible force that drives everything we do. It determines how much time and effort we put into a project and how seriously we take a task. Some people seem to have more than others....That is a lie. Passion, like anything else in life, is a choice, and something that you can condition your mind to achieve. Try being passionate about life, about waking up every morning and getting to breathe clean air. Be passionate about the fact that you have friends and family who love you, and be passionate about letting them know you love them too. If you stop focusing on all of the little negative parts of your day, which happen to everyone else everyday too, and keep the larger positive aspects of your life front and center in your mind the rest will start to fall into place. But remember,  it only works if you share your passion with others.

The difference between becoming an ultra successful linchpin (an indispensable employee) and a fundamental zealot, is knowing when it's time to let go. Don't let your ideas get tangled with your emotions. Be passionate about learning from your failures.
