I stumbled across this video via Rainn Wilson's twitter. It is a powerful 6 minute interview that I strongly suggest you watch.
Deepak describes happiness as "devine discontent"...it's the creative impulse...He says that with a little discontent and the creative impulse, we will be happy. Creation makes us happy, gives us meaning, even allows some people to feel in touch with a higher being. Solving problems makes us happy, creating new solutions to old problems brings us joy, and in turn innovation moves society forward (hopefully). Just watch the video.
So basically, everyone has to do something. I think I'll choose to create things that create change.
