The Spoken Word

This is some pretty powerful stuff...I stumbled across it after watching a Ted Talk about spoken poetry. The link to this video was posted in the comments. The speaker of the Ted Talk, also made a great comment during her speech about how she uses her poetry to work through...well...everything. Sometimes she writes a poem and when she reads back over it she's like ok, I totally understand this now, this is why I was feeling this way. Other times, nothing, but it's still a new poem. I have pretty similar experiences with my own writing. Now watch this video
